Kings Points 4th Annual Ella Prickett Memorial Swim A Thon

General NewsDear Swimmers and Friends:

Saturday, June 20th is the date for Kings Points 4th Annual Ella Prickett Memorial Swim A Thon to be held at the Kings Point Swimming Pool in Belleville Illinois. Please find attached the participants pledge sheet and informational flyer. This event has proven to be an awesome way for those who swim for sport or recreation to help raise money for Children’s Miracle Network (CMN) of Greater St. Louis. CMN is a non-profit organization dedicated to raising funds and awareness for Cardinal Glennon Children’s Medical Center and St. Louis Children’s Hospital. As you will read on the informational flyer, Kings Point initiated this event in memory of Ella Prickett, a former swim team member, dear friend, and companion, who passed away from cancer on June 3rd, 2006 at the age of 8. We are looking for a record number of participants this year. Please pass this information on to anyone who may be interested in participating or willing to help work the event. As in previous years there will be t-shirts and Dilly Bars for all participants, festive music provided by a popular DJ, face and body painting, and chances to win fun prizes. It is not too early to start securing your pledges and donations for Children’s Miracle Network. It is by far the best way to spend a warm summer Saturday morning in honor of a wonderful young lady! Please let me know if you have any questions or would like to call to register.

Thanks and hope to hear from you all soon!

Forms and additional information are available in the My Downloads Area of the Website.

Dupo Hilltoppers Hosting Clinic

General NewsDreams can come true with your support!

Hilltoppers Swim Team is committed to helping the kids in the Dupo, Columbia, Waterloo and surrounding communities get fit and get involved! Our team and our swimmers have grown by leaps and bounds over the past few years.

Mutual of Omaha and U.S.A. Swim Clinics are working in conjunction to offer a once in a lifetime opportunity to swim clubs. They have put together a world-renowned swim clinic that travels from city to city in the United States teaching young swimmers valuable lessons not only about swimming but also about life. The four-hour swim clinic will help build new skills, uncover hidden talent and help our kids stand out among the crowd. Champion performance techniques and how swimmer's body, mind and heart affect their swimming as well as their lives.

Mr. Josh Davis who won three gold medals in the 1996 Olympics and two silver medals in the 2000 Olympics in swimming will be teaching the clinic. He often brings other Olympians with him to help show children how wonderful swimming can be.

The cost of the clinic for 70-100 swimmers is $3,500. We would like to give our community business owners the opportunity to support such a great event. A $50 donation will allow one to two children to attend the clinic. A $500 donation will allow 10-15 kids to attend. The kids will receive instruction from a former Olympic swimmer, a bag full of wonderful gifts including a poster of the Olympic swimmers, autographed picture, an instructional DVD, a t-shirt and much more. They will also have the opportunity to get their picture taken wearing one of Josh’s Olympic Gold medals. What an opportunity!

If you donate, your business name and contact information will be listed as Gold Sponsors on our website. We have had many visitors to our site and in the upcoming months, many more! Hilltoppers is a not-for- profit organization. Please contact Salle if you are interested donating at 281-9344, email hilltoppers286@gmail.com or fill out the attached form and mail your donation to Hilltoppers Swim Team, P.O. Box 343, Dupo, Illinois 62239.

Please visit our website at http://hilltoppers.mywebcommunity.org for up to date swim team information and statistics.

We would like to extend our deepest gratitude for your consideration in this matter. Sincerely, Megan, Salle and Tracy Coaches
